# 1040 Earthen & Mineral Pigments (dry powders)

All Eco-House Earthen & Mineral Pigments  are micronized powders, which can be used in Silicate Paint Glazing preparations for mural painting or in other artist mediums, such as oils and waxes etc.   

They are made only from non-toxic chemical components, such as iron oxides, chromium III oxide, aluminum silicate and selected earthen pigments.

When using these pigments, they always should be wetted first in a small amount of the intended binder by making a smooth and even paste. This paste can then be added and mixed into the greater amount of binder.
